FRITZ SCHROEDER
" Fellow Raccoons: Please be advised that Fritz went to his eternal reward early this morning. The Obit will appear in Sunday's Herald Palladium. He had a long and productive life and he had great care and compassion from his family during his life, especially in his final years. When Hans called me this morning he said" They can take the Farmer's Breakfast off the menu at the Big Boy."You will recall that Fred always ordered the "Farmer's Breakfast" at the Big Boy although there was no such item on the menu. The great wait staff at the Big Boy knew exactly what he meant and he relished the meal with an appetite like a lumberjack,
Those Raccoons present at this morning's meeting, when we go the word, agreed that I should take care
of sending as floral tribute on behalf of the Club and will do so after I make sure of the arrangements and that such action is appropriate. I spoke to Russ, the Mgr. at the Big Boy, and he approved including the Big Boy in the floral tribute expense. Unless I hear objections, I will include the names , as shown on the "To" line above on the card.
If I were twenty years younger I would attempt to tell the story of Fred's life. It would make a great book and a wonderful movie. Fred was so pleased to be an American and he loved this country where his family found safety and freedom. If you have any questions. please call or e-mail me but I think I have told you all I know.
Ray. "
